Kucinich - Pot Questions Kettle

Democratic presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich questioned President Bush's mental health in light of comments he made about a nuclear Iran precipitating World War III.

The troglodyte candidate questions mental health? Who's giving this buffoon any credence ...

John Tanner ... Say What?

The chief of the Justice Department's voting rights division apologized Tuesday for saying that aging is not a problem with black voters because they die before they become elderly, unlike whites.

Doris Lessing: "Granny" Disses 9/11?

Some Americans will think I'm crazy. Many people died, two prominent buildings fell, but it was neither as terrible nor as extraordinary as they think.

Source

Win a Nobel Prize in literature and opine on 9/11 ... seems like a "no-brainer" in the World within which we now live.

Vlad - The Derailer

Russian President Vladimir Putin said Friday that the dispute over proposed US missile defense facilities in Eastern Europe has similarities to the Cuban missile crisis of the 1960s.

Source

What does this pompous arse know about 1962, save his education in the land of mind control and personal unworthiness? Given the fact(s) that the proposed missile defense is not being secretly set up with equipment secreted into a neighboring country(ies) and has been news fodder for months, it would seem that its "politics as usual" in the land of oppression and paranoia.

Mole For ILLEGAL INVADERS Quits UW

Jesus Salas sent his resignation letter Friday morning as Gov. Jim Doyle signed the new two-year state budget. Salas accused Doyle in his letter of not fighting hard enough for a budget provision that would have let illegal immigrants who graduate from Wisconsin high schools pay in-state tuition.

Salas went on to say he's angry with Doyle for signing laws that require proof of citizenship to get a driver's license and prohibit illegal immigrants from getting state-subsidized home loans.

Source

Angry ILLEGAL INVADER supporters are a "dime a dozen" in Liberal America. A question that resounds among legal citizens of the United States echoes the phrase ... "What about ILLEGAL do you not understand?"

Individuals such as Mr. Salas must have some form of mindset that is devoid of common sense.

FEMA ... Faux News or Faux Pas?

FEMA drafted at least four of its employees to play the part of reporters at a hastily called news conference when no members of the media showed up, spokesman Aaron Walker said. No reporters showed because FEMA announced the news conference only 15 minutes before it began. All reporters could do was call in on a phone line that did not let them to ask questions.

Source

As if FEMA didn't have enough "bad press" in its past history, this snap decision on a "short notice" presser goes somewhat beyond the pale. While some Government agencies are prone to "foot shooting," FEMA seems to be able to not only shoot themselves in the foot; but reload?

The media within the United States has the ability to paint the U. S. Government with wide strokes when seeking to expose the bad ... why would the individual who made this decision want to aid and abet?

Wildfires ... Another Story!

Pineda, a Guatemala native, was booked for investigation of arson and held on $75,000 bail. He's currently on probation for making excessive false emergency reports to law enforcement, police said.

San Diego County officials have reported scattered instances of looting in fire zones and illegal immigrants posing as evacuees to wrangle free food and supplies at Qualcomm Stadium.

Source

Is there really a tone of surprise in these news snippets? The Hispanic Americans who are knee deep in ash, fighting the chaos and adding their support to end the wildfires receive no ink from the media for their efforts.

Joe Biden: Wordmaster?

There's less than 1 percent of the population of Iowa that is African American. There is probably less than 4 or 5 percent that are minorities. What is in Washington? So look, it goes back to what you start off with, what you're dealing with, ...

While in Rome, ole' Sundance offers his opinions before the World press. I find it interesting that an individual whose only separator from being an average American is his successes within the entertainment industry, offers to opine about his views of the United States of America while on foreign soil. Chris Dodd: Fire(side) Talk?

You saw it in Kansas not long ago, Dodd said, you’ve seen it in other jurisdictions here, where because we’ve got men and women in Iraq in the National Guard, we don’t have them back in these states doing the kind of jobs they can do when these tragedies occur.

Source

Another politician using his own opinion and logic to assail the current Administration's use of the National Guard in an authorized military action? While each citizen within the United States certainly is entitled to "think" as they may, unfortunately only those with access to the media have their words disseminated to the World ...

Boxer Blames Iraq War For Shortfall ...

... Sen. Barbara Boxer (D., Calif.) stated that, because of the war in Iraq, the California National Guard is experiencing a 50 percent equipment shortage, which is hampering the fire fighting effort.

Source

Depending on the type of equipment and the MOS's of the individual National Guard members in Iraq ... or anywhere else, what in the HELL does Barbara Boxer know in regard to fire fighting efforts in Southern California? A National Guard member not trained in firefighting is just another disciplined man or woman added to the chaos.

Since the All Volunteer Force evolved after the Selective Service System was ended, the National Guard was given a new set of missions within this force. Some individuals want to "have it both ways" and blame an Administration for using what Armed Forces Units are available during an authorized military action?

Another politician representing who's interests ... NOT mine.

Law and Order: SVU ... Anti-American Politics?

Harm | Season 9 | 10/23/2007

I used to love to watch SVU but lately it's been getting more and more political and last night's episode was the "straw that broke the camel's back" for me. I'm sorry but I cannot watch anymore episodes of what used to be a great show. If I wanted to hear politics I would watch news or documentaries not entertainment shows. Besides the cast members of SVU are actors not political scientists, government officials or political commentators. They need to stick to their profession.

Source

The commenter on NBC's Law and Order: SVU website is reflecting my views upon this episode. The cast members, with rare exception, seemed to emote leftist political rhetoric while delivering their lines. This episode, in my opinion, was total "bovine excrement."

My next question would be ... "How does it translate into foreign markets?"

Driver's Licenses For ILLEGAL INVADERS?

Aliens, their embassies, nongovernmental organizations (NGOs), international agencies, and Mexico’s migrant-protection Beta Groups find that most abuses suffered by immigrants entering Mexico take place along its 600-mile border with Guatemala, with far fewer crimes committed on the frontier between Quintana Roo and Belize.

The World is currently being threatened by radicals, individuals who have fostered the obscene use of religion to promote hatred and destruction for a variety of 12th Century belief systems. Can a nation's borders be left "open" to this danger?

Talk About A Waste Of Our Nation's Focus ...

MoveOn.org Civic Action was started by Joan Blades and Wes Boyd, two Silicon Valley entrepreneurs. Although neither had experience in politics, they shared deep frustration with the partisan warfare in Washington D.C. and the ridiculous waste of our nation's focus at the time of the impeachment mess. On September 18th 1998, they launched an online petition to 'Censure President Clinton and Move On to Pressing Issues Facing the Nation.'

While this shtick may be as old as politics itself, in the current state of affairs ... does this humor gain any traction, relieve the stress of "real" politics or just fill in media pages and dead air? Not to beat a dead horse; but Ms. Fields', in hindsight, may have best served "Motherhood" by addressing her feelings toward "war" within another venue. The fecund media went to no limits to stretch and embellish the comment to every imaginable connotation.

Upon viewing several sources in regard to this "Armenian Genocide" quandary, I found myself thinking the very same thoughts as this student. Is the lobbying of Armenian Americans being received by the Democratic controlled Congress so strong as to blind the Democratic Leaders into sponsoring a bill that may make little or no sense; given the facts stated by my source?

Are the "unintended consequences" of this bill's passage really the intended consequences of a Democratic Leadership that will try any ploy to subvert our military action and resources within the battle, termed "Iraq War" by the left thinking zombies and liberal media?

One Collegian's Opinion ...

It is time for Jimmy Carter to realize Ronald Reagan isn't coming around to fix his mistakes anymore, and the American people no longer have a vested interest in his opinion. Just because Jimmy Carter still has the ability to speak, does not mean he should exercise his right to make a fool of himself - he did enough of that during his presidency.
